We are the third Friday quarter auction and we help to raise money for you.

Reaching out in the community to help people and organizations to raise money and awareness to those in need while having fun. We meet at the VFW in Glen Burnie the third Friday of every month except December.

A quarter auction is part raffle, part auction, part fundraiser and also a direct sales party. It works a bit like bingo. When you arrive, you will be given a numbered paddle for a donation. This paddle will have a corresponding numbered ball which will be put into the drawing basket.

Are you looking for ways to raise money? Would you like to do a fundraiser? Why not put the fun back into fundraiser and let us help you? We would like to help you raise money for your cause by having a quarter auction.

We are looking for new charities to help for 2018. At this time we are looking for the months of June-November. If you would like to be one of our charities please contact us to set your date up.

Our charities are responsible for getting 10 donation baskets for their table and getting guests to attend. The way you raise money is from the entry fee for everyone that signs under you and from the bids on your table.

What we ask of our charities

What you need to do: You need to get at least 25 people to come and sign under your charity. We set our hall up for at least 90 people so don’t feel shy, invite away. Have your friends bring their friends. The more that sign in under you, the more money you will raise. It is $5 which includes 2 paddles, more paddles can be purchased for $2 each or 3 for $5.
All that money collected at the door from people who sign in under the charity is the charites. You will also need to get between 10 and 15 baskets, gift cards, or anything that will go for a raffle. You can ask different stores, restaurants, liquor stores, auto shops, or anyone else you can think of for gift cards and/or merchandise. If you take gift cards and add make a basket with other items in it, they look nicer and people will bid. All money that is bid on for your baskets go to you.
You can bring in bake items for a bake sale, with you keeping the profits. Of course this is decided on before the auction so please communicate with us.
Keep in contact with us as to how many people it looks like you will have or if you are having problems getting donation baskets for you, as we might be able to help you or we might have to make sure there are more tables for your guests.
Once, the flyer is done then we will send a copy and it is up to you to promote and invite everyone you know.
